The chocolate croissants were an absolute treat, alongside a fantastic beach access just a hop away. Plus, the cozy atmosphere, with plenty of room in our One-Bedroom Apartment!
I found the microwave a bit limiting-I'd rather have a bench-top oven to get my cooking groove on. And while the shower was solid, a flexible shower head would have made getting to all the nooks and crannies easier.

Unfortunately, I noticed the need for better upkeep, as some kitchen utensils were dirty. The room also had some dust accumulation in places like light switches, a concern, especially with a family member suffering from allergies. For plug access, the power outlets along the walls were a stretch when seated at the table, and if you're sensitive to noise, be cautious of the main road traffic and occasional train sounds at night.

Spotless and carefully maintained. Friendly and helpful owner. Family friendly. Close enough to everything to guarantee enough exercise if walking.

Location: the hotel was next to magnificent beach and excellent walks, nature 100 m to the sea shore and New Zealand. My king studio had modern conveniences, including a safe, central heating and coffee/tea making facilities.

Staying at the Alpine View Motel was fantastic! The warm welcome set the tone immediately. Room 12 was clean, cozy, and quiet, even with the occasional train passing. We had easy access to the beach just through a gate, perfect for morning strolls. The kitchen facilities were very handy for prepping snacks. Being able to step out and enjoy the surf beach was a highlight. We did notice some traffic noise from the main road at night, which might be an issue for light sleepers. The internet connection dropped occasionally, necessitating a password reentry, a bit inconvenient. It.

Bathroom area was very cramped. I could not shave properly owing to the cramped narrow area of the wash basin. The light above the sink did not work so I was shaving in the half dark. The whole unit had a very old and tired/dated look about it and the kitchen area was very small and sparse. We tried to get trim milk and we were told that blue(fatty) milk is all we can have.We had friends staying with us and they were also unimpressed. In our opinion this was certainly not value for money. We would not stay there again.

A beachfront gem with cozy vibes
Waking up to the sound of waves and having a perfect view of the mountains from my kitchen was pure bliss. The owners were really good, helping us with our travel plans.
The lack of a flexible shower head in the bathroom. The parking space was a bit cramped at times, especially with heavy traffic.
